Home to more than 2 million LGBTQ+ Texans, Texas has the second-largest LGBTQ+ population in the nation. These Texans are employees, entrepreneurs, business owners, consumers, parents, veterans, and community leaders who contribute to every sector of our economy. As younger generations enter the workforce, that impact will only continue to grow.
We believe that in order for Texas businesses to compete for top talent, we must have workplaces and communities where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, aromantic, and other LGBTQIA+ people and their families can live, work, and thrive.
